A heavily pregnant ewe was stranded on a ledge at the Western end of Warrendale Knotts, above Settle. The farmer left it, hoping it would self-rescue when it became hungry, but there seemed to be enough grazing to keep it going. After three days, he called CRO via North Yorkshire

North Yorkshire Police put the team on stand-by when they were advised of a vulnerable man in difficulty, and possibly  at serious risk, near Malham. Fortunately they resolved the situation satisfactorily without CRO’s involvement. Volunteer hours:  2 

Two walkers (f, 51; m, 47) called for help when they and their dog lost the path off Ingleborough in thick mist and having lost the mapping app on their phone. The mobile phone company provided the Police with a grid reference, showing them to be near Long Kin West

An aspiring Three Peaks walker (m, 39) called North Yorkshire Police, who called CRO, reporting that he was on the descent from Ingleborough towards Horton in Ribblesdale, ‘4 miles from the bottom’ and that he had ‘fallen over and broken finger, going into shock.
