A caver reported that a sheep was stranded about 20m down a shaft into Rift Pot (Masongill). He offered to attempt to rescue it and report back. Meanwhile, team members were put on stand-by and one was tasked with checking the location. When the caver advised that the sheep had been returned safely to the fell, team members were stood down.
