A ‘lamb’ was reported to be in distress on one of the limestone scars to the SW of Gordale Scar. The duty controller asked a colleague to assess the site, then alerted team members for attendance the following morning. In the meantime a neighbouring farmer sent up his sheepdog and the well-grown ‘lamb’ self-rescued. Team members were stood down.
