North Yorkshire Police asked the team to assist two walkers (m,20s) who were stuck on the steep and rocky south shoulder of Pen-y-ghent. Two other members of their party (m,f,20s) had gone up to assist them, but the group was unable to move due to high winds and poor visibility.
