The Team were alerted by North Yorkshire Police, requesting assistance with a walker (F, 54) who had sustained an ankle injury whilst descending the summit ridge from Whernside. The walker was unable to bear weight on the injured leg, and could not continue walking. Members were despatched to the scene

The team were called out by North Yorkshire Police (NYP) to assist a walker (M, 35) who had slipped and fallen whilst descending from Whernside on the 3 Peaks Path. He had sustained a painful ankle injury and was unable to continue. The team were quickly mobilised to the site
