    INCIDENT 85/2025. (same day) 21.19 hrs PROVIDENCE POT, KETTLEWELL WITH STARBOTTON, NORTH YORKSHIRE.

    Our colleagues at Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association (UWFRA) asked the team to assist with investigating a report of three cavers overdue in Dowbergill Passage, a demanding through trip between Providence Pot and Dow Cave in upper Wharfedale.  An all-night search by cavers from the two teams and Swaledale Mountain

    INCIDENT 84/2025. OCTOBER 2nd THURS. 17.23 hrs WHERNSIDE, INGLETON, NORTH YORKSHIRE.

    North Yorkshire Police called the team to assist a walker (m,17) who had slipped and injured his ankle and knee descending Whernside toward Bruntscar.  Team members ascended to the casualty’s location just off the summit ridge, where they assessed and packaged the casualty.  The team then sledged the casualty down

    ALERT ONLY. OCTOBER 1st WED. 14.46 hrs INGLEBOROUGH NATURE TRAIL, CLAPHAM, NORTH YORKSHIRE. ALERT No 16 OF 2025

    The team were made aware of a person (m 80’s) who had collapsed on the nature trail. As the team were preparing a response they received a further call to say the person had been brought down to Clapham by the nature trail staff and no further assistance was required.
