Two walkers (f, f) reported themselves lost in the dark, having walked up to Malham Cove. NYP ascertained their position from their mobile phone and passed the information to CRO. While other members of the team were put on stand-by, the duty controller and three other members, returning to Clapham from incident no 79, diverted to Cove Road, Malham. Three team members walked across to the missing pair, then escorted them back to the road-head.
