A distressed walker with medical problems was encountered by other people as they reached the summit of Whernside. Thanks to the support of several walkers, she reached the top of the steep descent path. CRO members then took over the support for the slow, safe walk down to a team Land Rover. This returned her to her weekend accommodation.
