A walker (f, 26) was reported to have ‘fallen and passed out’ on the ‘Settle Loop’ of the Pennine Bridleway, above Langcliffe. Two team members and the YAS ambulance crew were able to reach the casualty in CRO 4, the team’s Honda Pioneer. After an initial assessment by the paramedic (suspected heat exhaustion), she was taken in CRO 4 to the road ambulance for further assessment. Other team members who were waiting at the road-head were stood down.
