A visitor to the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail (f, 54) twisted her ankle on the climb up the steps above Thornton Force, leaving her unable to walk.  After assessment by a team doctor, she was splinted and assisted into a stretcher with wheel attached.  Team members carefully eased the stretcher back down the steep steps.  They then wheeled the casualty back down the trail to a team Land Rover for transport back to her party’s vehicle.
