A competitor in a long distance endurance race suffered an injury to his calf and was unable to continue his participation in the event. CRO were called out to assist and were able to drive a team landrover to the injured person’s location on Cam Road. Whilst on route, CRO team members became aware of a second competitor nearby who was also withdrawing from the event with an injury. Both were driven to the road head at Gearstones and handed over to the care of event medics.
