Whilst attending to incident 37, CRO was called to an incident at Thornton Force, near Ingleton. A boy, aged 11, had slipped whilst entering the pool at the foot of Thornton Force and hit his head on a submerged rock. He was treated by CRO members, a community responder and an air ambulance paramedic. We were able to escort the boy a short way on foot for transfer by a CRO vehicle to Ingleton village. From here he was taken by North West Ambulance Service for a check up in hospital.
