The team were called by North Yorkshire Police to assist a group of Three Peaks walkers (m 20, 42 & 47) who had lost their way whilst descending Ingleborough in the dark and misty evening.
Using our PhoneFind tool, the Duty Controller was able to locate the missing group on our MR Map system and, after speaking to them to confirm that they were all fit and well, was able to direct them back on to the correct path. The Duty Controller then kept in regular contact with the group and tracked their progress back to their vehicle in Horton.
