With a road ambulance and air ambulance on the way, YAS requested CRO’s assistance following a report of a boy (11) who was ‘unresponsive, lips are blue’ at Janet’s Foss. The team responded, but members had got only as far as Malham village when they were stood down, being told that CRO was not needed. With no further information, a check with NYP’s Force Control Room revealed only that the child had been able to walk to the road ambulance. [Initial cause unknown to CRO.]
