A female walker fell approximately 20 feet down stone steps near Pecca Falls, losing consciousness for a short while. The team were tasked by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist, and located the casualty not far from our rendezvous point. YAS paramedics were conveyed to the casualty, who after a full assessment identified suspected head and spinal injuries. She was placed in a full body vacuum splint and stretchered by team members to a team vehicle, for transport to the road ambulance.
