North Yorkshire Police asked the team to assist a walker (m, 53) who had slipped and injured his leg descending the track from Pen-y-ghent toward Hull Pot. Team members used CRO4, the team’s all terrain vehicle, to reach the casualty who was conveniently right beside the track. After assessment by a team cas carer and splinting, the casualty was assisted into CRO4. He was then driven to Horton for onward transportation to hospital.
