A walker (f, 41) fell on limestone pavement, trapping her foot so that she was unable to move and she soon became very cold. It was not possible to use PhoneFind or speak to her (Her phone may have worked via ’emergency roaming’.), but as CRO members arrived in the immediate area, Police officers had already found her. She was provided with a heated waistcoat and a Blizzard emergency jacket, then helped to CRO 4 to be driven to the road-head. A team Land Rover then took her to have a warm drink and to re-warm.
