While driving towards Horton in Ribblesdale, two CRO members, in a team Land Rover, came across a road traffic collision which had occurred only moments earlier. Driving a vehicle marked as an ambulance they felt obliged to stop and offer assistance until the statutory emergency services arrived. They were able to provide care and pain relief for the injured motor-cyclist (m, 52?) until he could be handed over to the YAS paramedics. After assisting them with the transfer to the road ambulance, they continued on their way.
