Whilst returning from the incident at Ribblehead, one of our vehicles came across a road traffic collision involving a motorcyclist. Team members provided initial first aid and called the Police and Ambulance Service. Once the ambulance servcie attended, team members handed over to them, and returned to base. Volunteer hours:

An HM Coastguard search and rescue helicopter, operated by Bristow’s, arrived at Ribblehead today as part of a practice with CRO. Bristow’s last attended an incident with CRO on 15th November, when their aircraft developed a fault and had to be rescued itself (see recent incident report) By way of

The Rescue Helicopter which had been in the Dales since the weekend has now been repaired and lifted out of the mud. It is now on a level platform waiting for a crew to (hopefully) fly her away tomorrow.
