A walker told the police that he had found a sheep stuck in a bog near Harry Horse Stone. He had tried to pull it out, but succeeded only in pulling himself in. A small team turned out, but could not find a bog containing a sheep. They did find a particularly muddy sheep, nearby, concluding that it had escaped. While in the area, a team member heard a faint bleating which came from a hidden hole in the side of a shake-hole. The sheep that was stuck there was rescued fairly easily and turned out onto the fell.
