A visitor (m, 46) was reported to have fallen, a third of the way up the steps to the top of Malham Cove. He was unable to stand or put any weight on one leg because of a knee injury. After attention from YAS paramedics, he was helped on to a stretcher and CRO members, assisted by the paramedics, carried and sledged him down to the foot of the steps. He was helped into a team Land Rover and driven down to Town Head for transfer to the waiting YAS road ambulance.
