A Three Peaks walker (f, 52) experienced severe pain in her left leg while descending the rocky path from Whernside summit, eventually becoming unable to continue. Her party called North Yorkshire Police, who asked CRO to attend. Team members ascended to the casualty’s location where a team doctor assessed her. The casualty was then assisted into a stretcher and wheeled back down the fell to a team Land Rover, which returned her and her party to their vehicle.
