The Team were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist a walker (M, 36yrs) who had slipped whilst walking above Gordale Bridge, on the path from Malham Cove, and had badly injured his ankle. After assessment and administration of pain relief by YAS paramedics and the Team Doctor, the injured walker’s ankle was splinted by team members who stretchered him to the road-head. Meanwhile, just as the Team were leaving the scene………….
