A farmer’s wife left a message on CRO’s Facebook, saying that a lamb could be heard near Cowskull Pot, on the West side of Pen y ghent. The following morning, a small party of CRO members found a rather heavy sheep in Cowskull Pot, hauled it to the surface and released it, unharmed, onto the fell.
