A visitor (m, 52) was reported to have collapsed and lost, then regained consciousness at the top of the steps, above Thornton Force, on the Waterfalls Trail. He was uninjured and declined to be carried, by stretcher, to a team Land Rover, waiting on Twisleton Lane. Instead, he was escorted down to Tom’s Cabin and across fields to the Kingsdale road, where YAS paramedics were waiting to assess him in their road ambulance.
