The police requested the team to assist in a search for a missing person (m,50) believed to be on Whernside with inadequate clothing for the freezing conditions.
As the team members gathered at Ribblehead for a briefing prior to commencing a search, the police reported that the male had been found safe and well on a minor road in Chapel le Dale. Team members were therefore stood down before a search of the mountain started. Volunteer hours: 25
