As the team were packing up from incident 74, a call was received to another 3 peaks walker (f,41) with a confirmed lower leg fracture. On arrival at the scene, team casualty carers took over casualty handling from event first aid staff, and requested the attendance of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance due to the severe nature of the injury.
The casualty was treated and packaged for transport, and carried by stretcher to Helimed 99, for immediate transfer to hospital.
