A woman (79) slipped and fell on Storrs Common, having just completed the Waterfalls Walk. A local man called for an ambulance and alerted the team due to the location, knowing access would be difficult for an ambulance.

Team members carried out initial treatment of the woman, and splinted her for arm and suspected shoulder injuries, before stretchering her to a waiting ambulance in Ingleton. Volunteer hours: 18
